You pay the actual wholesale price of electricity, which changes every 30 minutes based on supply and demand across the New Zealand grid.

Your Aotea Smart Battery automatically charges when wholesale prices are low and discharges when prices are high. This reduces your average cost of power without any action from you. The Smart Control Platform manages dispatch on 5-minute price signals in the background.
